UBI QA Tool is a browser extension for authorized quality assurance of Oracle Infinity experiments and analytics on supported websites. The publisher shown on its Chrome Web Store listing is responsible for the extension. Contact: [email protected].
Local processing, without developer telemetry
The extension has no developer-operated server, sign-in system, advertising, usage analytics or telemetry endpoint. It does not send the information it observes to the publisher or to another recipient. It does not sell data, use it for advertising, or use it to determine creditworthiness or lending eligibility. The publisher cannot read your local extension data through this extension.
The extension nevertheless accesses and processes website data locally to provide its visible QA features. “No developer telemetry” does not mean that the extension never reads or stores information.
Information used by the features
On the supported HTTPS origins, the extension reads Oracle configuration and runtime state, campaign and variant names/IDs, availability and statuses, the inspected page's URL/context, and QA selections. It writes Oracle QA selections and a rollback record in the website's local storage when providing the Sandbox controls. Explicit activation changes the QA URL parameter and reloads the page.
The Action Log observes metric names passed to the Oracle SDK and their local timestamps. The console logger operates while the extension is enabled. Saved Action Log history is collected when the floating log or a DevTools capture session requests it, unless recording is paused.
Opening UBI Integrations requests local observation of supported analytics SDK calls, integration events, selected page/journey data-layer fields, API availability, and selected analytics queue/storage values. This includes ORA_PersInt, savedAdobeTracks, ORA_Metrics and the ORA_PPTD analytics queue cookie. It does not read all browser cookies through a cookies API.
Optional Network capture is off by default. When enabled in a recording Integrations session, it reads selected Oracle, Adobe and Decibel/Medallia request URLs, decoded parameters, available request-body values, timing and HTTP result information through DevTools. It does not copy request headers, request cookies or response bodies. Normal integration observation can still read the selected analytics queue cookie described above.
Analytics payloads, URLs, page context and error text can contain online identifiers, activity information or other personal/sensitive values supplied by the inspected website. The extension bounds the size of snapshots but does not provide comprehensive personal-data redaction. It does not intentionally read password fields, private communications or payment forms. Do not use live customer data for QA or assume that diagnostic exports are anonymized.
The error view processes up to 50 captured personalization.js errors for the current page document, including messages, stack traces, source locations, page context and timestamps. Captured errors are not proof that every error was observed.
Storage and retention
Settings, campaign drafts, selected variants, pause/network preferences and layout preferences are stored in chrome.storage.local. Action Log keeps the last 50 entries per exact origin. Integrations keeps the last 100 events per exact origin, including the originating tab ID. These histories are shared by tabs on the same origin and persist across reloads and browser restarts until cleared, replaced by newer entries or removed with the extension's local data. Chrome Sync is not used. Local browser storage is not an encrypted vault provided by the extension; access to the browser profile can expose stored diagnostics.
Script errors stay in the current page document's memory. They are cleared when that document is replaced/reloaded or when you clear them. The website's QA state and rollback record are separate from extension storage and can remain after uninstallation.
Your controls and deletion
Use Pause recording and Clear in each log to stop or remove its saved history. The Action Log pause is shared with its floating view; Integrations has a separate pause. Disable Network capture to stop optional request observation. Disabling collection does not automatically erase previously saved entries. Console messages are managed separately by DevTools.
Use Disable on this site and reload before uninstalling to restore the saved site selections managed by the extension where its rollback record is available. Uninstalling removes the extension's local storage; it does not itself restore website QA state or change Oracle to Production. Reload affected pages after removal. If you also want to remove website QA state/rollback records, clear the relevant site's storage or use its native QA controls; clearing site data may sign you out of that website.
Copy, Copy JSON and Copy errors put the requested information on your system clipboard only after you click the control. The extension does not upload these copies. Clipboard managers or operating-system clipboard synchronization may handle copied data under their own settings. You decide whether and where to share it. Contacting support by email voluntarily shares your message and any attachments with the publisher; remove sensitive values first.
Website services and limited use
The websites and their existing analytics SDKs may continue transmitting data to their own services. The extension does not operate these services, add a developer telemetry destination, or make additional analytics calls for its logging. Applying Sandbox selections can cause the website to run the selected campaigns and their normal analytics.
Information accessed through Chrome APIs is used only to provide the extension's stated QA functionality. UBI QA Tool's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. It is not sold or transferred for unrelated purposes, advertising, creditworthiness or lending decisions.
Changes and contact
This policy will be updated if the extension's data practices change. For support, privacy questions or deletion guidance, contact [email protected].
